Superintendent's Holiday Message

Sending you warm holiday wishes image
Dear West Babylon Families, Faculty, and Staff,

The holiday season has arrived! I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to each of you for the care, dedication, and partnership you bring to our West Babylon school community. This time of year reminds us of the importance of connection, kindness, and supporting one another—values that are at the core of who we are as a district.

Our students have enjoyed community and after-school holiday programs such as the PTAs' Jingle Jog, holiday sing-alongs, concerts, and community tree lightings! They have walked our school halls with excitement as they prepare for school spirit days, winter concerts, service projects, Polar Express experiences, plays, and/or countless classroom celebrations focused on holiday traditions centered around Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and New Year’s Day celebrations. These special events have brought great joy to our schools.

Many WB families, students, staff, and faculty members have supported countless families in need this holiday season, displaying our community’s extraordinary compassion and generosity. Your acts of kindness truly embody the spirit of WB and make a difference in the lives of others.

As we head into the holidays and December recess, I hope you find time to rest, reflect, and enjoy meaningful moments with loved ones. Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or simply the spirit of the season, I wish you peace, joy, and a healthy start to the New Year.

Warmest wishes to you and your families for a wonderful holiday season.

With gratitude,

Dr. Yiendhy Farrelly
