West Babylon's Student Digital Access Survey for 25-26

As part of the New York State Education Department's (NYSED) requirements for our Instructional Technology Plan (ITP), we are committed to ensuring Digital Equity—meaning every student has equitable access to the technology and digital resources needed for a quality education. To fulfill our digital equity commitment, NYSED mandates that we collect accurate data on your child's access to digital resources at home. This information is vital for the district to identify and close any gaps in access. The "Student Digital Access Survey" is the questionnaire we use to collect information from our families.

The current survey is now available using the Eschool Parent Portal

If you have trouble accessing the parent portal survey, please complete the attached survey to keep West Babylon in compliance with this New York State mandate. If you have already completed the survey on or after 7-01-2025 in Eschool, you will not have to redo the survey and no further action is required.

If you have any questions, please contact us at the ITS office at 631-376-7741 or send a Direct Message via Parent Square to Dr. Leonard Wright III, Director of K-12 Student Data & IT.

How to Access Survey on Parent Portal

Login to Eschool Parent Portal

The home page will look similar to display above once you select one of your child's profiles. Then proceed to the "Digital Access Survey" Tab. If you are already logged into the Eschool Parent Portal, please try to access the survey using the link below:

Complete the Digital Access Survey

Once you have fully answered all the required questions, you can submit the survey and you will be completed. 1 survey is mandated for each child regardless of household. If you have issues or concerns, please send a Direct Message via Parent Square to Dr. Leonard Wright III, Director of K-12 Student Data & IT.

REMINDER

If you have trouble accessing the parent portal survey, please complete the study attached to this posting to keep West Babylon in compliance with this New York State mandate.
